Ephs Suffer First NESCAC Loss to Wesleyan

NEW LONDON, CT – The Williams College volleyball team (11-5) suffered a 3-2 loss to Wesleyan (24-26, 25-16, 18-25, 25-21, 14-16) on the first day of the Connecticut College Invitational Tournament.

The Ephs, who defeated the Cardinals 3-0 at last month's MIT Invite, struggled back and forth with Wesleyan for each point. Leading the boards for the Ephs were senior team captain Chelsea Kubal (14 kills, 25 digs), junior Emily Avis (51 assists), and junior Kate Anderson (14 kills).

The team squares off against host Connecticut College tomorrow at 11AM.
