WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -- With a pair of second half goals from Sara Wild and Annelise Snyder, the Ephs defeated Eastern Connecticut State 2-0. With the win, the Ephs advance to the next round of the NCAA's, the round of eight.
Wild scored just over eight minutes into the second half to give the Ephs the 1-0 lead. She scored off of a free kick. Wild has 13 goals on the year.
Snyder added an insurance goal with just under thirteen to play. Her goal was a right-footed shot from the left wing. Snyder has three goals on the year. There was no assist on the play.
The Ephs move on to play William Smith, who is hosting this round of the tournament, tomorrow. More details on today's game will be posted later this evening.
