"You've got to come ready to wrestle hard, and we just weren't," Hasenfus reiterated. When asked about goals for the break he said, "We'll regroup and get healthy. The big problem is we're thin, you know we didn't have Tanabe or [Rob] Brackup and Corey [Paulish] has still got his shoulder to get healthy, with one of those guys healthy we may have won the matches. We were only one win away."

On the Wilkes Tournament in a few weeks he said, "We've got some guys who are hurt so we may not take everyone to Wilkes. We want to get everyone healthy since we go to Roger Williams right after break. We'll take one or two guys to Midlands [Northwestern University], but really we just have to regroup and get healthy before the end of the break."

They'll have plenty of time to do that as this was the last meet for the Ephs before the winter break. They will wrestle at the Wilkes Open and Midlands Invitational over winter break before they head to Roger Williams University for the Scott Viera Invitational in January.
