Williamstown, MA -- The Bulldogs traveled to Williams on Friday to take on the Ephs at 5:00. Knowing the number two ranked team who provide extremely tough competition, the women played very well. They focused on trying to stay on court as long as possible, and not making any mistakes. Sophomore Alli Rubin states, "It was a tough match, but everyone played well." Mia Fry took a game, and Laura Henry and Hannah Kaemmer came close, dropping their final game 12-10.
After a tough day of competition, the women were ready to take on Colby and Bowdoin today at 1:30 and 3:30. The Ephs played very well today. They focused on using the two matches as practice games for the highly anticipated match against Bates, tomorrow at noon. The women defeated Bowdoin 9-0, with Courtney Bogle winning an extremely close five setter. The women also defeated the Colby team 9-0, even with three of the top players out to rest.Overall, the start of the weekend has been a success for the women. They look forward to a tough match against the Bobcats tomorrow at noon.
