WILLIAMSTOWN – It was an exciting day at the Simon Squash courts, as the women's squash team brought in a lot of fans to watch them take on Hamilton and Stanford. They were very happy with their overall performance, ending up with a win and a loss.
The Ephs swept Hamilton 9-0 to start off their day. Everyone played a strong match, not even dropping a single game. The women then had to focus on their next match against Stanford later that afternoon
Knowing how strong Stanford was, the women prepared themselves for a tough match. They knew they had the ability to push Stanford to its limits.
Although the women fell 9-0 to Stanford, there were some notable performances. Sophomore Alyssa Northrop and Senior captain Courtney Bogle demonstrated great skill and endurance, each taking a game. Alli Rubin and Ellie O'Neill also played strong matches, coming very close to winning games.
Today's matches proved that the Ephs are more than capable to challenge any team, and they are very excited to take on Cornell tomorrow at noon.
