Ephs Fall to Brown 5-4

Video Highlights

Williamstown, MA – Today the Brown Bears traveled to Williamstown to take on the Ephs at 4 pm. The women's team had been anticipating this match the entire season, knowing their number one seed at nationals was on the line. With the Simon Squash Center full of fans, the women went on court ready to play their hardest and best squash.

The women truly displayed their extreme fitness and ability in their matches, pushing Brown to their limits, however, they still fell short. Alli Rubin, Carolyn Kaemmer, Eliana Saltzman, and Courtney Bogle pulled out crucial wins, while the remaining members of the team had close matches. Sophomore Mia Fry had an especially close match, going to five games. Although this loss was very disappointing for the women, they played well and knew that they lost to a good team.

The women now need to mentally prepare for the NESCAC tournament this weekend at Trinity where they will play the number two seed. Taking on Wesleyan at 10 am and Middlebury at 4 pm, this will be an exciting weekend for the women. They also look forward to another big match against Middlebury next weekend.
