NEW HAVEN – The Ephs traveled to New Haven today to take on F&M at 6 pm for their start to the Yale Round Robin. After a hard week of training, the women were ready for the match, ultimately achieving an 8-1 victory.
For the first round, Caroline Sawin, and Eliana Saltzman started the day with two decisive three game wins, while Laura Henry pulled out a tough four game victory. Hannah Kaemmer, Courtney Bogle, and Alyssa Northrop were the next set to get on court. Kaemmer and Northrop earned quick three game victories, while Bogle fought hard in a five battle, eventually succumbing to her opponent. Finally, Alli Rubin, Carolyn Kaemmer, and Ellie O'Neill finished the day with three game victories.
The women are happy with their overall strong performance, and look forward to taking on Conn College and George Washington today at 3 pm and 7:30 pm, respectively.
