MIDDLETOWN – The Ephs traveled to Wesleyan today for the annual Little Threes Tournament between Amherst, Wesleyan, and Williams. Having won consecutive titles since 2000, the Ephs wanted to keep their winning streak going.
The Ephs started the tournament by taking on Wesleyan at 1pm. The women played dominant squash throughout the lineup. They didn't drop a single game, consequently giving them a 9-0 victory. Junior Alli Rubin played particularly strong squash, giving up a mere five points the entire match.
The women then went on to challenge Amherst at 3pm. Although Amherst proved to be more of a challenge than the Wesleyan team, the Ephs continued their momentum, ultimately sweeping the Lord Jeffs 9-0, as well as taking a twelfth consecutive Little Three title.
Continuing their winning streak in a decisive manner, the women were happy with their overall performance. They look forward to taking on the much-improved Columbia team tomorrow at noon.
