Series:  The series began in 1884 in Amherst where Williams prevailed 15-2 and later that year the two teams met in Williamstown and the Ephs won again, 11-0.
Williams leads the all-time series 73-56-5. Williams won the last time the two teams met downing Amherst 33-9 in Williamstown in 2019.
 
Amherst's last win in the series came in Amherst in 2018, 45-14. Amherst has won the last four games played in Amherst including in 2016 - 28-3, 2014 - 17-9, and 2012 – 23-20.
 
The Ephs' last win on Pratt Field came in 2010 - 31-16. That win under head coach 
Aaron Kelton is the most recent of the seven perfect seasons recorded at Williams (8-0-0). 
Dick Farley recorded the most perfect seasons at Williams 5, and 
Mike Whalen and 
Aaron Kelton each recorded one.

Last Week:
Amherst traveled to Hartford, Conn. to play Trinity and the Bantams defeated the visiting Mammoths 49-7. The Amherst score came in the final minutes of the game when Brad Breckenridge ran four yards for a touchdown. Trinity held Amherst to 112 total yards (30 on the ground).
 
Michael Jeffrey led the Mammoths on defense with 9 tackles (5 solos).
 
In Williamstown on Homecoming the Ephs celebrated the 50
th anniversary of The Walk with a 25-0 win over Little Three rival Wesleyan. Members of the 1971 Eph team that started this unique tradition that 
Sports Illustrated magazine dubbed "The Best Post-Game Tradition in America" in 1992.
 
After the game several members of the 1971 Eph team made The Walk up Spring Street with the current Eph team leading the way.
 
First year placekicker 
Ivan Shuran converted on all four of his field goal attempts on the day versus Wesleyan, senior tight end 
Justin Burke caught a pass from senior quarterback 
Bobby Maimaron and turned that into a 74-yard touchdown, and junior running back 
Joel Nicholas carried the ball 26 times for 173 yards (6.7 avg) and he scored one touchdown.
Williams rolled up 444 yards in total offense with 289 of those yards were on the ground.
 
The Eph defense held Wesleyan to 212 total yards with 124 of those yards coming through the air. Eph junior linebacker 
Rocco Giandomenico led the Eph defense with eight tackles, all solos.
