WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. – The Williams men's cross country captured the NESCAC title and four team members earned all-conference honors. 2022 marks the 20
th time and the third year in a row the Ephs have won the NESCAC Championship. Williams has won seven of the last nine NESCAC title races.
Senior
Elias Lindgren remained undefeated this fall winning the NESCAC Championship race. Lindgren was named the conference's Most Outstanding Performer and to the All-NESCAC First Team. This is the third consecutive year Lindgren has earned NESCAC First Team honors. In his first competitive season in 2018 he was also named the NESCAC Rookie of the Year.
Joining Lindgren on the First Team were junior
John Lucey and sophomore
Grahm Tuohy-Gaydos. Lucey finished fourth overall this fall and last year he earned All-NESCAC Second Team honors. Finishing in seventh place and earning First Team recognition was sophomore
Grahm Tuohy-Gaydos. As a first year, last fall, Tuohy-Gaydos was a also a First Team honoree and he was named the 2021 Rookie of the Year.
Collecting NESCAC Second Team laurels this fall was sophomore Charles Naimot who finished 14
th.
