Senior Ephs
Haley Jefferson and
Quan Ng have been named to the 2022-2023 All-NESCAC First Team.
This award brings Jefferson to her third First Team accolade (in 2020 and 2022, with no season in 2021 due to COVID-19). This season, she played at the #1 for Williams for all 23 of the team's matches. Jefferson finished her final season with a 10-2 record against NESCAC opponents, beating every team's top player at least once. She had many incredible performances including a win over Colby's All-American back in January as well as 3-0 victories against Bowdoin and Tufts in the NESCAC tournament.
Co-Captain
Quan Ng had an incredible season at the #2 spot where she, too, played 23 phenomenal matches to earn her 2
nd First Team award (with her first in 2020). Ng went 9-3 versus NESCAC opponents, beating all but one opponent at least once. Her most notable performances include her senior day 3-0 win over Brown and a 3-2 victory in a rematch against Tufts at NESCACs.
"Haley and Quan had another fantastic season for Williams squash. Both led the team at the #1 and #2 position for the past 3 years and set the tone in terms of standard of play as well as overall standard of professionalism toward the sport. Each year, our young players had two amazing role models to learn from and look up to. We will miss them both dearly. They will be hard to replace." – Head Coach

We wish Jefferson and Ng good luck as they travel to Philadelphia this weekend to compete in the College Squash Individual Championship and conclude their college squash careers.
