6 Eph Women's Soccer Players Named CSC Academic All-District Honorees

WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS – Six members of Sarah Raymond's 2024 Williams College Women's Soccer team have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.
 
To be honored as an Academic All-District honoree the player must start 66% of the team's games or participate in 90 % of the games and possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50.
 
Tori Huang a senior captain and midfielder from Arlington, Mass. earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the second
year in a row. Huang played in and started 15 games this past fall. Huang is majoring in Economics and Psychology.
 
This season Huang was named First Team All-NESCAC and All-Academic NESCAC for the third year in a row. She is also a Dean's List student.
 
Huang tallied 5 goals this season (all game winners) and assisted on 2 goals.
 
Senior captain and defender Ava Simunovic who hails from Weston, Mass. was honored as a First Team All-NESCAC player for the third time this fall and earned CSC Division III Academic All-District Team recognition for the second consecutive year. Simunovic is also a Dean's List student and has been named All-Academic NESCAC three years in a row. Simunovic is majoring in Psychology.
 
Simunovic started all 16 games and contributed 2 assists this season.
 
Meredith Tutun a senior defender/midfielder from Rye, NY played in 16 games this fall and started all 16 notching 2 assists. A Dean's List student Tutun has been named a CSC Academic All-District honoree twice and All-Academic NESCAC three times.
 
Tutun is majoring in History.
 
Senior midfielder Sam Phan from Belmont, California played in 16 games and started in 11 games this past fall. She tallied a team high 5 assists this season. A Dean's List student Phan has been named All-Academic NESCAC three times.
 
Phan is majoring in Psychology.
 
Junior goalie Margaret Huelin from Farmington, Conn. started all 16 games this past fall. She allowed 2 goals and posted a save percentage of 0.920. She's a two-time All-Academic NESCAC honoree. Huelin is majoring in Psychology.
 
Reece Willison a sophomore defender from Simsbury, Conn. played in all 16 games, starting seven times and tallied 1 goal. She was named All-Academic NESCAC in 2024 the first year she was eligible. Willison has not declared a major at this time.
