Annaliese Fricke of the third-seeded Williams College women's volleyball team combined for 25 kills Friday evening during a 3-2 setback to second-seeded and No. 6-ranked Colby during the NESCAC Semifinals at Wesleyan University.

Eve Kaplan combined for 31 digs, while junior
Morgan Daetz and sophomore
Lilly Carstens teamed up with 36 assists for the Ephs (19-7, 7-3 NESCAC). Brady Moseley led the way for the Mules (23-2, 9-1 NESCAC) with a match-leading 20 kills.
The first set was tied at 21-21, but the Ephs closed out the game with four straight points and clinched it on a service ace by senior
Kami Israelski. Colby responded and scored the final three points of the second, winning the set by a score of 27-25.
The Mules scored the first point of the third set, but the Ephs never trailed again after that. Fricke delivered a game-clinching kill in the 25-17 victory. Colby answered and won the fourth set, 25-11, and then Moseley posted the match-clinching kill during a 15-6 fifth-set win.
The Mules compete against fourth-seeded and No. 20-ranked Tufts during the NESCAC Championship match Saturday at 3 p.m. in Middletown, Connecticut. The Ephs will find out if they earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament on Monday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m.
