Connor Berg and
David Vieten each scored a goal for the Williams College men's ice hockey team during a 7-2 setback at Bowdoin Saturday afternoon.
Berg scored on the power play for the Ephs (0-2-0, 0-2-0 NESCAC) with 1:41 remaining in the second period, assisted by sophomore
Rowan Heithoff, and then Vieten found the back of the net with 4:37 on the clock in the third period.
J.J. Lemieux and Will Rice finished with two goals and one assist, respectively, for the Polar Bears (2-0-0, 2-0-0 NESCAC). First-year
Ryan Kearney posted a game-high six shots for Williams, while Berg tallied five.
The Ephs will compete in their home opener and senior night against Connecticut College Friday at 7 p.m. in Lansing Chapman Rink.
