WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Women's squash opened its 2025-26 season on Saturday afternoon at the Simon Squash Center, facing off against the #5 ranked Trinity Bantams.
The visitors were able to capture a 9-0 win over the Ephs, who battled throughout the lineup against one of the strongest opponents the team will face all season. The Bantams won 3-0 at each of the nine matches, though Williams was able to push their opponents in many individual games.
The season and home opener for the Ephs was also the collegiate debut for first-years Frances Brooks at #2, Alicia Chen at #4, Lucy Farman-Farmaian at #8 and Anna Wong at #9.
The Ephs will be back in action quickly, squaring off against #7 ranked Cornell on Sunday at noon at the Simon Squash Center.
