GREENWOOD, IN -- Four Members of
Steve Kuster's 2024-25 Williams Women's Swimming and Diving team that finished sixth at the NCAA Championship have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.Up to four athletes may be nominated by their coach and each must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and be at least a sophomore.
Senior
Sophia Verkleeren a chemistry major has earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors for the third consecutive year.
Verkleeren in 2024 was named a CSC First Team All-American honoree. Three times, the maximum allowed, Verkleeren has also earned Academic All-NESCAC honors for achieving a GPA of at least 3.50. In addition, Verkleeren has been named a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American three times.Twenty-five times Verkleeren has earned NCAA All-American honors and she has won six NCAA races.
Junior
Lily Codd who is majoring in Biology and Statistics is a two-time Academic All-NESCAC and CSCAA Scholar All-American. Codd is a three-time NESCAC Champion (1000 Freestyle – '24, 1650 Freestyle – '24, 800 Freestyle Relay – '25) and a five-time NCAA All-American. Prior to the NCAA Championship meet Codd was named to the inaugural Allstate National Collegiate Athletic Directors Association (NACDA) Good Works Team for her work in creating a Special Olympics Swim program at Williams and her involvement with the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Codd has earned Academic All-NESCAC and CSCAA academic honors twice.
Senior
Charlotte Wishnack, a 2024-25 team captain, is majoring in Biology and Math. Wishnack this winter was a three-time First Team All-American and twice she earned Second Team All-America honors at the NCAA Championship Meet. In her career she is an eight-time All-American and twice finished third in the NCAA championship 200 breaststroke.Three times Wishnack has earned Academic All-NESCAC honors and she is also a three-time CSCAA Scholar-All-American.
Senior diver
Adelaide Herman a 2024-25 team captain is majoring in American Studies and Biology. Herman twice earned All-American honors, 2022 and 2025 on the one-meter board.
In 2024 Herman was the NESCAC Diver of the Year and the NESCAC Champion on the 3-meter board. Three times Herman has been honored as a CSCAA Scholar-All-American and an Academic All-NESCAC honoree. In the 2024-25 season Herman was an NCAA zone qualifier and finished 4th at the NCAAs on the 1-meter board.
