BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - The Ephs wrestling team continued to perform well, winning a dual meet on Saturday at Bridgewater State by the score of 33-14.
Williams won three of the ten weight classes by fall, with Fisher Stites at 165, Gage Wiggins at 174, and Connor Reynolds at 285 all pinning their opponents. Those three wins, plus a forfeit victory by Jamie Evarts at 184, gave the Ephs 24 points and command of the match.
Other winners included a trio of extremely close decisions, with Tylor Stubbs taking a 9-7 decision at 141, Caleb Seyfried winning 11-7, Leo Tansey earning a 12-9 win at 157.
The Ephs will be back in action next weekend at the NEWA duals in Providence, before taking a week of before the Oneonta Quad on Feb. 7. The team will have its final home match of the season on Feb. 13, hosting Castleton State.Â
