No. 8 Ephs total 27 All-Conference efforts and four major awards at NESCAC Championship

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The No. 8-ranked Williams College women's swimming & diving team won its 22nd overall and third consecutive NESCAC Championship at Wesleyan University on Feb. 12-15, as the Ephs compiled a tremendous 27 All-Conference performances and garnered four major awards from the conference office at the Webster Family Natatorium in Middletown, Connecticut.

Sophie Phelps was named NESCAC Rookie of the Year, while Steve Kuster, Allie Clark, James Singewald and Trent Makowiec received NESCAC Co-Coaching Staff of the Year accolades. Seniors Lily Codd (341 points) and Irene Yang (300) finished second and fourth, respectively, in the Career High-Point Swimmers category.

In order to receive All-Conference laurels at the NESCAC Championship, individual student-athletes or relay teams must finish in the top three during the events. Below you can see all of the Ephs' All-Conference accolades, with 10 first-place finishes, nine second-place performances and eight third-place efforts.
