WATERVILLE, Maine - On the last day of the Men's NESCAC Championship Sunday, three Ephs from the No. 8-ranked Williams College women's swimming & diving team competed during the February Invitational at Colby College. These women were looking for NCAA invite times and B cuts to continue their seasons for a few more weeks.
Sophomore
Clare McDermott was already heading to the NCAA Championship in a few weeks, but was looking to add another individual race to her lineup. The B cut time is a 55.86, and McDermott raced a time of 55.78. This earns McDermott a chance to swim it again on the national stage.
Senior
Ruby Groves and first-year
Isabella Castano had not yet punched their tickets to the meet. Instead, the two were looking to post times that might get invited individually. Groves finished in a 2:03.76 and Castano a 2:04.98. Invites are unofficial as of now, but Groves put herself in a fantastic position to be invited with a sub 2:04 performance.
