HARTFORD, CONN. – The Williams College baseball team dropped game one of its three-game NESCAC series against Trinity College, 14-9, on Friday afternoon.
With the loss, the Ephs fall to 6-9 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
The Ephs jumped out to an early lead in the first inning, as

Ryan Nakajima followed with an RBI triple to take an early 2-0 advantage.
Trinity responded quickly, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first before adding two more in the second to take a 5-2 lead.
Williams answered in a big way in the third inning, erupting for seven runs to reclaim the lead.
Dave Mosrie delivered a two-run single before
Quinn Carlesimo drew a bases-loaded walk and Rey was hit by a pitch to force in runs.
Marcus Burrell II provided the biggest swing of the inning, clearing the bases with a three-run triple to give the Ephs a 9-5 lead.
The Bantams responded immediately, scoring twice in the third and then putting together a four-run fourth inning to regain the lead at 11-9.
Trinity added to its advantage in the fifth with a solo home run and tacked on two more runs in the eighth to secure the 14-9 victory.
Burrell II paced the Ephs with three RBIs on two hits, while Mosrie added a pair of RBIs.
The Ephs will look to bounce back tomorrow as the series continues with a doubleheader beginning at noon.
