HADLEY, Mass. - Juniors
Quinn Carroll and
Jack Wagner of the No. 3-ranked Williams College men's crew team were named to the All-NESCAC First Team, while senior
Dalton Peters earned Second Team honors Thursday afternoon from the conference office.
The three student-athletes earned All-Conference accolades for the first time in their collegiate careers. Carroll and Wagner have competed in the first varsity eight boat during all six events this spring. Peters competed in five events with the second varsity eight and also suited up for the first varsity eight during the Little Three Championship on April 18 at Lake Onota in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
During the grand final of the second varsity eight event at the National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC)/NESCAC Championship on May 10, Peters earned a silver medal with his boat. Carroll and Wagner took home bronze medals in the grand final of the first varsity eight during the New England Rowing Championship on May 2 and the NIRC/NESCAC Championship.
The Ephs will compete in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Division III National Championship on May 29-30 at Lake Natoma in Gold River, California.
