GOLD RIVER, Calif. — Williams College men's rowing had two successful races at the IRA National Championship at Lake Natoma this morning, sending both eights to their respective grand finals.

The first eight raced in the second heat of the Division III Varsity 8+ event to kick the day off for the Ephs. Williams placed second in their heat, clocking 5:58.850 behind Trinity's time of 5:56.690. This strong finish secured Williams a spot in the Grand Final.

The second eight came next for the Ephs, racing in second heat of the Division III second 8+ event. Williams won with a time of 6:05.220, besting Trinity by more than three seconds and locking the Ephs in for the Grand Final.
