Biography

2019: Appeared in six games off the Eph bench in his rookie year in the midfield before his season was cut short with an injury...Registered his first career assist on a game-tying goal against Tufts...Earned a penalty kick against Babson that led to the team’s game-winning goal.
 
High School/Club: Attended Torrance West High School in Torrance, CA...Played in USSDA throughout his high school career...Team contended in the playoffs and he led the team in goals in two of his seasons...Also was a part of the Olympic Development Program where he started and led his team to the championship in 2016...Part of a club that won the 2017 Surf Cup Championship during his time in CVSC.
 
Personal: Son of Shige and Miko Usami. Has an older brother, Dan.
