Stan Parese

  • Title
    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Stan Parese enters his seventh year as a volunteer assistant with the Williams baseball program in 2025-26, as he joined the team in 2019.

Coach Parese (Williams ‘79) has spent the better part of his life actively engaged with the game of baseball. He played as a young man and again in adult hardball leagues for over a decade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Albany, New York.

Since 2000, he has coached and instructed local teams and players. He formerly owned a commercial batting cage business. Parese considers himself a lifelong student of baseball. He believes – in the words of former MLB manager Jim Leyland – “You never stop learning about the game,” and would add to that, “The game never stops teaching you.”

Parese has been a practicing attorney since 1983. He and his wife, Judy Fraser, moved to Williamstown, Massachusetts, in 1988. Their son, Jackson, played baseball at Williams (class of 2017).
