Chris Rorke

Chris Rorke enters his third year as Quarterbacks Coach for the Williams College football team in 2025.

He previously served as Head Football Coach and was a Class Dean at Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts, from 2017-22. He was responsible for all aspects of the football program and provided NCAA Eligibility Audits for student-athletes. 

From 2011-17, Rorke was the Pass Game Coordinator at Dartmouth College, coaching the quarterbacks and recruiting student-athletes from New England and New York. The 2015 team was Ivy League Champions.

He worked in the NESCAC from 2006-11, serving as the Offensive Coordinator at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He oversaw a $150,000 fitness-room renovation, was a Physical Education Instructor, coached quarterbacks, recruited student-athletes from New England and New York and won the conference championship in 2008.

He worked at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, from 2003-06, serving as the Offensive Coordinator. Rorke coached the quarterbacks and recruited student-athletes from Central Pennsylvania and Ohio. The 2004 team won the Patriot League Championship.

Rorke was the Head Football Coach and a Physical Education Instructor at Plymouth State from 1999-2003, winning the ECAC Bowl in 1999 and Freedom Football Conference Championship in 2001.

He wore two hats as the Offensive Coordinator of the football program and the Head Golf Coach at Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington, Illinois, from 1993-99. He was a Physical Education Instructor, coached the quarterbacks, recruited student-athletes from Western and Southern Illinois and was an Admissions Counselor/Athletic Recruiting Coordinator for all sports. The 1994 and 1996 squads were College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin champions.

From 1991-93, he was a Receivers Coach at Dartmouth, while also being the Friends of Dartmouth Football Newsletter Editor. The 1992 and 1993 teams won the Ivy League Championship. Rorke earned a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth in 1989.
