Chris Rorke enters his fourth year as the quarterbacks coach for the Williams College football team in 2026.
Rorke previously served as head football coach and was a class dean at Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts, from 2017-22. He was responsible for all aspects of the football program and provided NCAA eligibility audits for student-athletes.
From 2011-17, Rorke was the pass game coordinator at Dartmouth College, coaching the quarterbacks and recruiting student-athletes from New England and New York. In 2015, he helped the Big Green win their first Ivy League title in 19 years.
The NESCAC is not foreign to Rorke having served as the offensive coordinator at Trinity College from 2006-11. He oversaw a $150,000 fitness-room renovation, was a physical education Instructor, coached quarterbacks, recruited student-athletes from New England and New York and helped the program win the NESCAC championship in 2008.
Another stop in Rorke’s coaching career came at Lehigh University, where he was the offensive coordinator from 2003-06, which included a Patriot League title in 2004. He coached the quarterbacks and recruited student-athletes from Central Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Rorke was the head football coach and a physical education instructor at Plymouth State from 1999-2003, winning the ECAC Bowl in 1999 and Freedom Football Conference Championship in 2001.
He wore two hats as the offensive coordinator of the football program and the head golf coach at Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington, Illinois, from 1993-99. He was a physical education instructor, quarterbacks coach, recruiter of student-athletes from Western and Southern Illinois, and an admissions counselor/athletic recruiting coordinator for all sports. The 1994 and 1996 squads were College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin champions.
A 1989 graduate and a quarterback at Dartmouth College, Rorke began his coaching career at his alma mater as the receivers coach from 1991-93, while also being the editor of the Friends of Dartmouth Football Newsletter. Both the 1992 and 1993 teams won the Ivy League Championship, and he once threw for 302 yards against Holy Cross in his playing days.
