Criston Gill joins the coaching staff this Fall after spending the past year at Avon Old Farms in Avon, CT , where he had spent a postgraduate year in 2010-11. He served as a teacher and dorm parent, as well as having varsity coaching duties in football, basketball and track.

Gill attended Western Carolina University where he double-majored in sociology and business management. There he was a two-time All-American. Post-college, Criston had hoped for an NFL career, but also knew that he wanted to coach. In 2015, he established the Christon Gill Foundation and launched Christon Gill Football Camp which provides the local youth of Bridgeport and surrounding areas with a free football camp and training indoors.

Gill and his son Ja’zoni live in Williamstown.
