Dayna Moneta

Dayna Moneta enters her third season with the Williams College football program and first year as Running Backs Coach.

Previously, she was an Assistant Offensive Line Coach for the Ephs' football team and also served as an Athletic Assistant for Special Projects for Williams' Athletics.

“Dayna will wear multiple hats in our department, working with student-athlete services, inclusion and compliance, special administrative projects and will serve as an assistant football coach,” said Athletic Director Lisa Melendy in her announcement of Moneta’s hiring. “The search committee was impressed with Dayna’s varied experiences that will help her hit the ground running as she transitions to a collegiate setting.”

Prior to joining Williams College, Moneta was a Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director at Lehman Educational Campus in the Bronx, New York, where she found her love of coaching. Moneta earned a master's in sport coaching from West Virginia University and a bachelor’s in physical education from SUNY Cortland.

Moneta currently plays women’s professional football as a center. She was a member of two Division 2 National Championship teams, New York Sharks (2018) and New York Wolves (2023). At SUNY Cortland, she was a four-year participant for the Red Dragons, as a goalkeeper for the women’s soccer team.

She graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, and then earned a Master of Science in Sport Coaching from West Virginia University in 2022.
