Nick Hennessey enters his seventh season as an Assistant Coach for the Williams College football team in 2025. He serves as the Offensive Coordinator, a role he was promoted to in February 2021.

A veteran of the NFL (Buffalo Bills), the United Football League (Omaha Nighthawks) and the Canadian Football League (Hamilton Tiger-Cats/British Columbia Lions), Hennessey joined Head Coach Mark Raymond’s staff in May 2019. He was an Assistant Coach on the Ephs' football team in 2021, which finished with an unblemished 9-0 record and first place in the NESCAC.

Prior to being Offensive Coordinator at Williams, he served as Running Backs and Tight Ends Coach. In 2019, the Ephs were ranked seventh nationally in rushing yards per carry (5.92), 14th in rushing yards per game (247.8) and 49th in passing efficiency (21 TDs, 3 INTs). The Ephs led the conference in passing TDs (21) and rushing offense.

Hennessey was an All-American offensive tackle at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, before embarking on a professional career. Prior to Williams, he most recently worked as the Offensive Line Coach at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for two years. He also coached at St. Lawrence University (2010-13), Western Michigan University (2014-15) and John Carroll University (2016). At St. Lawrence, Hennessey worked with Raymond, who was the Head Coach of the Saints.
