Steven Hild Football Coach Headshot

Steven Hild

Steven Hild enters his second season as an Assistant Coach for the Williams College football team in 2025. He serves as the Wide Receivers Coach.

During his first season with the Ephs, the team finished 5-4 with a 21-0 season-ending win over Amherst on Nov. 9 at Farley-Lamb Field in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

A two-sport student-athlete at Bates College, Hild was a four-year letter winner in football and lacrosse. He played linebacker at Bates, as the football team had its most successful four-year stretch in 30 years. As a defensive midfielder in lacrosse, the program found similar success making the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the program's history his senior year.

After graduating from Bates with a bachelor's degree in history in 2015, Hild worked at several financial service firms in Boston, Massachusetts. He decided to follow in his parents' footsteps by pursuing a path in education and coaching.
