Tom Foote enters his ninth season as an Assistant Coach for the Williams College football team in 2025. He serves as the Defensive Line Coach.

Foote joined Head Coach Mark Raymond's first staff at Williams and also serves as Assistant Coach for the Ephs' wrestling program. He was an Assistant Coach on the Ephs' football team in 2021, which finished with an unblemished 9-0 record and first place in the NESCAC.

A two-sport student-athlete at Williams, Foote lettered all four years in football and wrestling, Foote was an All-NESCAC Performer on the defensive line for the football team in 2012. His career on the mats ranks him as one of the most accomplished heavyweights in Williams College wrestling history.

During his tenure as the heavyweight for the Ephs' wrestling team, Foote appeared in the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Finals all four seasons and earned All-NEWA honors. He was a three-time NCAA Championship qualifier.

After graduating from Williams with a bachelor's degree in American Studies in 2013, Foote served as a Volunteer Assistant Wrestling Coach under Head Coach Scott Honecker in 2013-14. During the 2014-2015 season, Foote was an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Episcopal High School in Houston, Texas. Foote returned to Williams as a full-time Assistant Coach under Honecker for the 2015-16 wrestling season.
