Biography

Andrew Lyons-Berg:  A senior goalkeeper who is tremendously athletic and has made large contributions in goal in each of the last three seasons.  Each year he has found ways to continue his constant improvements both mentally and physically.

 

Andrew played in 2 matches as a freshman, 5 games as a sophomore, and saw action in 6 games as a junior with 4 key saves. 

 

This year, Andrew will again be competing for the starting goalkeeper position and will see increased playing time.  Andrew is very committed to training and possesses the ability to win the starting position.

 

Prep and Club:

High School: Four year letter-winner in football for Sidwell Friends School where he was captain and MVP his senior year and a two-time all-conference team selection.

 

Club: Played for two-time Region I champions Bethesda United. Also played four years and traveled to Italy and Brazil with the Maryland state ODP team.

 

Personal:

Son of Clare Lyons and Steve Berg and has one sister, Eve.
