Annie Canales enters her first season as an Assistant Coach for the Williams College women's basketball program during the 2025-26 season.

She graduated from SUNY Cobleskill in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Technology in Canine Training & Management and minors in accessible instruction and art studies. She was a four-year member of the women's basketball team, serving as a captain during her junior and senior seasons and leading the program to back-to-back NAC Women's Basketball West Division Championships.

Canales was named to the All-Conference Second Team as a first year in 2021-22, while helping the team reach its first NCAA Division III Tournament during the 2024-25 season. She set the record for made 3-pointers at SUNY Cobleskill with 200. During her college days, Canales was an equipment room assistant in the athletic department.

She attended Hoosac Valley High School in Cheshire, Massachusetts, as she was a Western Massachusetts and State champion in 2018-19 and 2019-20. During her senior year in 2020-21, she was a Division 3 All-Western Massachusetts First Team selection and was named to the All-Berkshire Girls' Basketball Team.
