Nick Woodman

Nick Woodman enters his second season as an Assistant Coach for the Williams College women's basketball team in 2025-26.

He finished with second year as the Defensive Line Coach for the Williams College football team in 2024.

He was a four-year football student-athlete at Utica University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, to go along with a concentration in sports management and minor in journalism in 2016. Woodman was a four-year leadership council member and holds Utica records in single-season sacks (13) and career sacks (29.5). He served as a team captain and holds the record in the Empire 8 Athletic Conference for career sacks.

Woodman was an invitee to the New York Giants minicamp in 2016. He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League (2016), Jersey Flight in the American Arena League (2018), Jacksonville Sharks in the National Arena League (2019), Spokane Shock in the Indoor Football League (2020 and 2021) and Vegas Knight Hawks in the Indoor Football League (2022). Woodman earned Defensive Player of the Year, Defensive Lineman of the Year and Rookie of the Year, to go along with 16.5 sacks, during his time on the Jacksonville Sharks. The Sharks were championship winners in 2019.

Woodman worked as an assistant coach on the football staff at Utica from 2020-23. During his time with the Pioneers, he served as an outside linebackers and defensive line coach. He organized individual positional drills for daily practice to prepare for the upcoming games, while also contributing to the weekly game plans by scouting opponents and identifying strengths and weaknesses. Woodman also handled in-game rotation of student-athletes and assisted with virtual recruiting days during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
