Cailyn Straubel

Cailyn Straubel enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Williams Volleyball Program. Prior to Williams, Straubel was a 4-year starter at Connecticut College.

Straubel, originally from Dallas, Texas, has been exposed to volleyball at all levels as a player and coach.  She served as a club coach for both the 16s and 18s teams in Sound Volleyball Club based out of New London, CT. She also coached for ENRICH, which is an after school program for middle school students near Conn College. Additionally she has served as an instructor for VolleyTots which is a program specifically geared for introducing volleyball to kids ages 3-5 and helped for 3 years as a summer camp coach at Connecticut College.

Cailyn has participated in two USA Volleyball certification/training programs, USA CAP 1 and IMPACT.

A two-time captain of the Connecticut College Camels, Straubel was named to the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team three times. In 2012, she helped her team to the NESCAC championships and into the second round of NCAA play. Straubel graduated with her degree in Human Development with a minor in Psychology in May of 2016.
