Meissner received certification from the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) in July 2022 and he currently resides locally with his wife, Kristin, daughter, Kori, and his oldest son lives in North Carolina.

At Williams, Meissner manages the Equipment Room, overseeing the unit and ensuring day-to-day tasks are completed as well as evaluating the processes in which the equipment rooms operate to identify areas of improvement and spearheading the implementation of new procedures.

He manages the equipment and services for 32 varsity teams, which requires a significant amount of knowledge in each area in order to provide what is needed in a cost-effective manner that meets safety standards by the NCAA.

He worked as an Athletic Equipment Manager at Kent School in Connecticut from 2015-21. Meissner was responsible for the Athletics budget for all field, hard and soft goods. He established an inventory and team laundry loop system, while also being responsible for major capital improvement projects like gym floor restoration, bleacher replacement, turf fields, batting cages and scoreboards.

From 2010-15, he worked in Team Sales at Sportsmen's, INC., in Litchfield, Connecticut. He represented national athletic brands and introduced products to athletics teams and organizations. Meissner built and maintained strong relationships with company representatives, while communicating and interacting with school athletic directors, coaches and equipment managers.
