BRIDGEWATER, MA - The Ephs went 1-1 today in their tri-meet at
Bridgewater State bringing their dual meet record to 6-4 on the
season. Coming into the match, Williams was ranked sixth in
New England and Bridgewater was ranked fifth.
Williams began the meet knocking off Coast Guard, 30-18. Coast
Guard was not able overcome forfeiting four weight classes to the
Ephs.
After taking down Coast Guard, the Ephs lost to Bridgewater
State, 25-12. In the final match, tri-captain Ethan Cohen '09
defeated Eric Rosado, the fifth ranked wrestler in New England,
5-1. Cohen, ranked second at 125 pounds, is one of six Ephs
currently ranked in the top five in New England.
The Ephs return to Bridgewater State's Tinsley Arena January 20
for the NECCWA Dual Meet Tournament.
