Vieth would pick up an event win of his own in the 100 yd freestyle, leading a Williams sweep of the first four spots. Vieth's time of 47.70 was over half a second ahead of second placed Alex Nanda (48.47). Junior DJ Taylor (49.48) and sophomore Sean Sutherland (49.98) all broke 50 seconds in the event. Taylor would then turn around and win the 200 yd Individual Medley, completing the challenging event in a time of 2:01.24. Seniors Greg McElroy and John Guiffre completed the sweep for the Ephs.

First year Christian Gronbeck would lead a Williams sweep in the 200 yd freestyle. Gronbeck captured first with a time of 1:46.03, ahead of junior Philip Treesh and first year Alex Nanda. Cam Johnson of Conn came in third.

The Williams trio of Alex Long, Rohan Bhatt, and Morgan Stevens came through strong once again in the diving events. Bhatt placed first in both the 3m (295.58) and 1m (273.40) competitions. Long would take second in the 3m competition with Stevens taking third, although the positions would be reversed in  the 1m competition, with Stevens taking second place with Long third.

The meet marks the final competition for both teams before they head into winter break, and their winter training trips. Both teams will look to come back strong when they return to the pool competitively in January. The Ephs will next travel to take on archrival Amherst on January 7th, while the Camels will swim against Grinnell College on January 10th in Naples, Florida.
