PRINCETON, NJ -- The #10 ranked Williams Men's Squash team suffered a decisive loss to #3 Princeton Friday.
Andy Maruca played the closest match of the day for Williams at number 5. Maruca jumped out to a 2-0 lead behind patient play and stellar drop shots, but failed to close the match out and eventually fell in five games.
Nick Marks also played great squash at the number three position. He was unable to win a game, but played his opponent tough, nearly taking the third game.
Williams will travel to Philadelphia tomorrow morning to take on rival University of Pennsylvania. UPENN is currently ranked #9, one spot ahead of the Ephs. Williams fell 5-4 and 6-3 in their two matchups last year. Upon completion of that match, they will head to Hartford to play defending national champion Trinity College in their last match before winter break.
