Junior goalkeeper Evan Cohen (Syosset, N.Y.) was selected the Co-NESCAC Player of the Week in Men's Lacrosse for play ending March 20th.
Cohen was key for the Ephs in a defensive struggle at Bates on Saturday as he recorded 14 saves in a 6-5 victory, Williams' first win of the season. Half of Cohen's 14 stops came during the fourth quarter, including two saves in the final minute of the game to preserve the Ephs' one-goal lead. His save percentage for the game was .736.
To date this season, Cohen has a sparkling .718 save percentage and has stopped 28 shotsin two games. His goals against average is 5.37.
