WILLIAMSTOWN, MA--Williams (4-2, 1-3 NESCAC) fell 9-4 to NESCAC foe Trinity (7-0, 4-0 NESCAC). The visiting Bantams out-shot the Ephs 22-15 and controlled 50% more of the draws.
Margie Fulton'12, Kaitlin Ellis'12, and Emily Jablonski'14 scored for the Ephs. Fulton scored twice, while Ellis and Jablonski each contributed a goal and an assist. Rebecca McGovern'14 also contributed an assist.
Kaitlin Hildebrand and Hadley Duncan led the scoring for the Bantams with two goals apiece. The remaining five goals were split between five different players.
Hildebrand scored five minutes into the first half. Williams freshmen Jablonski and McGovern combined to tied the score at 1 apiece, but Hildebramd struck again a 20 seconds later. Trinity scored again before Fulton put away her first goal, assisted by Jablonski. The Bantams scored two more times to close the half up 5-2.
Fulton scored the first goal of the second half, closing Trinity's lead to 2. The Bantams then went on four goal run. Ellis scored the last goal of the game with 5:34 left in the game. The final score was 9-4.
Williams will play Connecticut College on April 6th at home on Lamb Field at 4:30pm.
