Ephs Fall to Tigers 8-1

Princeton, NJ -- The Williams men's squash team traveled down to Princeton yesterday for the first match of what they knew would be a tough weekend. Right from the beginning, the Ephs saw how talented the 10th ranked Tigers were, as Williams dropped all three of the first round matches.

David Pincus '19 (#6) split the first two games with his opponent, showing great determination and composure, but eventually lost. Eph head coach Zafi Levy said, "I was very impressed with how David played. For a freshman to step into the lineup and give strong performances on a regular basis is huge for the team."

The second round of matches once again showed strong play from the middle court. Galen Squiers '16 (#5) downed his opponent in a quick three games, giving him another quality win. He is leading the Ephs both as a great captain, but also on the court, as he has won his last three matches--all against tough competition. Finally, at the top position on the lineup, Jamie Ruggiero '17 battled his opponent to four games in a what was a truly great squash match. 

Next up for the Ephs is a quick roadtrip to Philly, where they will play the 8th ranked Drexel Dragons, followed by the 7th ranked Penn Quakers in two more tough matches.
