Three Ephs named to All-NESCAC Teams

Williamstown, MA – After a record season in which the team finished with a national rank (including DI and DIII schools) of #13, which was their highest ranking in over a decade, three Ephs have earned All-NESCAC honors. Senior Wyatt Khosrowshahi was named to the All-NESCAC Second Team while junior Udai Pal and sophomore Will Evans were both named to the All-NESCAC First Team.

Senior co-captain Wyatt Khosrowshahi received an All-NESCAC Second Team nod after a solid season playing mostly at the #4 spot. When asked to comment, Khosrowshahi had this to say, "Udai and Will both had great seasons in what was a roller-coaster year throughout so glad to see them honored as such. They'll be key figures for the program in the upcoming 2022-2023 season"

Junior Udai Pal was named to the All-NESCAC First Team after a strong year playing at the #1 spot. He had this to say following his selection, "Coming into the season, our goal as a team was to finish in the top-16 and after finishing at #13, I could not be happier with the success we have had this year. From day one, everyone on the team bought into our goal and we worked so hard throughout the year to achieve it. I will be sad to see our seniors leave, but I am super excited to build on this success next year."

Sophomore Will Evans was named to the All-NESCAC First Team after a stellar season playing at the #2 spot. Evans had this to say, "I'm thrilled but absolutely nothing would be possible without the rest of the guys. I can't really stress enough how integral they have all been in my individual success this season, and I already can't wait for next season with these guys."

Head coach Zafi Levy had this to say following the selections, "Udai, Will, and Wyatt all had amazing seasons. They competed against some of the best players in the country at the number two and the number one positions. During the season Udai has risen his level significantly to an all-American status. Will also improved tremendously in his first year of competition. Will is one of the most physical players in our league and he's ready to play at the number one position next year and the year after. Both Will and Udai have led the team into a record season and have led by example throughout the season. Wyatt had a very strong season as well and battled some incredible matches for the team. Over the years that is why he has been one of this programs highest performers and I'm very happy for him to be rewarded for his hard work"

Two Ephs, Udai Pal and Will Evans will now head to the College Squash Individual Championships in Philadelphia next weekend in what will be the last event of the year.
