SANTA BARBARA, CA. – In their final match of the annual spring break trip, the Ephs faced Westmont College. Despite losing at #2 doubles, the Ephs earned the doubles point with crucial wins at #1 and #3 doubles. In the singles play, the team won four out of the six matches. The day ended with first year
Shawn Berdia closing out a third set win to give the Ephs a 5-2 victory.
Sophomore
Matt Kandel earned a 6-3, 6-4 victory at #2 singles as seniors
Michael Medvedev and
Kirun Cheung followed with 6-4, 6-2 wins. Juniors
Chase Cohen and
Karan Amin lost in close matches with Amin dropping the final two sets after winning the first.
The team will now return to Williamstown to train for a few days before facing Wesleyan on Sunday morning.
