First Years Philip Clifton and Ben Sapovits Earn All-NESCAC Golf Honors

_{WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. –}_{Two first year members of Josh Hillman's Williams College men's golf team have been honored by the NESCAC in a vote by the conference coaches.}

_{Ben Sapovits (Mansfield, Mass) was named to the All-NESCAC First Team, while Philip[ Clifton (Winston-Salem, N.C.) was a Second Team honoree.}

_{"Ben played extremely steady all year with the occasional first year bumps, noted Hillman. "His work ethic and willingness to listen really helped him settle in and embrace college golf. His victory at the Williams Spring Invitational two weeks ago was impressive. Hitting a shot to 4 feet under pressure is not an easy task and he nailed it. That birdie secured the team victory as well as the individual win.}

_{"Phillip had a strong first year with two really solid finishes late in the fall season. One at Bowdoin and one at the Sap Bucket. He is constantly improving and it won't be long before you see his name consistently on top of the leaderboard," stated Hillman}
