HADLEY, MASS. -- Senior captain and offensive lineman
John Freeman has been named to the All-NESCAC Offensive Team. This marks the third consecutive year that Freeman has earned All-NESCAC First Team honors.

Mark Raymond. "As a captain he did a great job leading our football team this year. This season he showed his versatility and willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team. Throughout the year he moved from guard to tackle several times. At both positions he played at an All-Conference level. He is certainly deserving of this honor."

Junior offensive lineman
Tim Forth, junior defensive end
Cameron Smith and Junior linebacker Etrhan Scott were honored for the first time in their careers. Forth, Smith and Scott started all nine games this season.

Raymond said, "Tim had a great year. His growth as a player from week one to week nine was amazing. His dedication and hard work have gotten him to this level. We are excited to have him back for another year."

This season Smith recorded 29 tackles (23 solos). He was second on the team in tackles for a loss with 10, which resulted in 42 yards lost. He tied for team high in sacks with 6.5. His sacks resulted in the opposing team's offense losing 32 yards. Smith also tied for the team lead in forced fumbles with 3 and he led the Ephs with 2 fumble recoveries.

Raymond noted, "Cam was an outstanding player for us. He continued to make big plays for us all year. He is a high motor player who makes plays with great effort and determination. He has only scratched the surface of what he will be next year."
Ethan Scott started all nine games and recorded 39 tackles (23 solos). He led the team in tackles for a loss with 11.5, which resulted in opposing offenses units to lose 67 yards. His 6.5 sacks tied him with Smith for the team lead. Scott's sacks totaled 34 yards lost for Eph opponents. Scott also broke up 1 pass, intercepted one pass, and forced a fumble.
"Ethan was a big time player for us," coach Raymond noted, "His relentless energy contributed to him making some big plays throughout the season." Â
