Ephs Earn At-Large Berth in NCAA Tournament

WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. – Alix Barrale's 2023 Eph Field hockey team (11-7) that finished as runners-up in the NESCAC Tournament will host Worcester State on Wednesday, November 8 on Williamson Field at 6:00 PM.
 
Barrale commented, "Thrilled we get to keep playing. So proud of this team and what we have accomplished this season. Looking forward to competing on the national stage."
 
The Worcester State Lancers are the 2023 MASCAC champions and they sport a record of 13-4 and have won their last five games.
The Lancers have scored 51 goals this season and are led in scoring and assists by senior forward Grace Adams who has tallied 19 goals and has registered 7 assists.
 
Senior goalkeeper Sam Gastonguay has an .804 save percentage and a 1.22 goals against average.
 
The Ephs have tallied 54 goals this season and sophomore Kiki Higgins leads with 9 goals. Senior Molly Hellman's 9 assists is tops for the Ephs.
Senior goalie Gates Tenerowicz has allowed 31 goals in 18 games and has fashioned a 1.31 save percentage and she has recorded two shutouts.
