The Short Story: The Ephs could only manage five hits and no runs on the day, dropping two games to the University of La Verne.
Adhya Tandon,
Elyse Chan and
Madison Mok all pitched well in the losses and the Ephs were lead by junior Kelly McGuigan's two hits.
Coach's Take: "Our offense could not get going at all--this has been the story of the trip so far. We've given up runs in the first inning of each game and our offense has not been able to get us back in the game on many occasions. Once that starts to happen, people get tight and performances suffer even more. That being said, this is a very good team that I expect will find its way in the coming weeks. I'm excited for us."
