The Short Story: The Williams offense showed new life today as the Ephs batted around in the 2nd inning in game 2 and put up six runs, highlighted by a monster home run by Kelly McGuigan in the 6th inning. Eph pitchers performed well all day, with
Sadie Leonard '26 being a hard luck loser in game one after giving up just one run, and
Adhya Tandon '23 and
Elyse Chan '25 combining to give up just two earned runs in game two.
Coach's Take: "Our pitching has been steady the entire trip, although we will continue to get better at closing out innings, and our defense has shown steady improvement. Our offense is, quite literally, hit or miss, and we need to continue to develop and stick to our plan at the plate." -- Head Coach
Kris Herman
