The Ephs scored four more times in the fourth inning thanks to hits by Haywood, Wise, Chang and McGuigan, and Trinity scored once in the top of the fifth inning. The Ephs' last run of the day came in the sixth inning after Wise singled to third base and Chang, Fleming, and Miller all walked, advancing Wise to home. The Bantams totaled only four hits over the course of the game, and the Ephs won 8-4.
"These were great team wins," said Ephs head coach
Kris Herman. "We got important on-field contributions from every player who was able to compete. That, and an engaged dugout and strong leadership from our injured players, made for a fun day."
